We develop novel sound-based therapies and digital health solutions for neurological rehabilitation
Neurotrauma, including traumatic and acquired brain injury, affects millions worldwide, often leaving people cognitively, physically and emotionally impaired to various degrees. Sustained engagement and efficient rehabilitation remain critical challenges. Many neurological conditions are underserved and undertreated by existing rehabilitation approaches.
CLAB develops sound-based approaches that support an engaging and sustainable rehabilitation experience, grounded in rigorous scientific research, a people-first agenda and sound integrity.
For us, sound is not just content or a means of entertainment, we treat it as a multidimensional and precise therapeutic instrument. Beyond our ears, sound is transduced through the body via sequenced entrainment, the synchronisation of biological rhythms to external oscillations. Its rhythmic and spectral lattices are shown to tune biological systems, including the human body, and deliver an immersive experience that can be measured and reproduced.
Early case studies in prolonged Disorders of Consciousness (DOC) have shown encouraging and novel results and were presented at the World Congress for NeuroRehabilitation (WCNR) 2026. Building on these findings and our successful lab validations across our technologies, we are developing clinical and research collaborations with hospitals and neurorehabilitation centres across Europe.
